Prior to commencing at the RSA, Sarah was a Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and completed her PhD examining the production of social impact accounts by not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises. For her studies, Sarah was awarded a Centre for Social Impact PhD Scholarship, as well as a PhD Completion Award for Research Excellence.

Sarah has been a visiting scholar at the University of Western Australia and the University of Oxford. Her research interests in social impact, accountability and social enterprise were motivated by her five-year experience working as a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Social Impact, where she worked on a range of applied research projects in collaboration with a variety of government, not-for-profit and industry partners.

In 2017, Sarah will be teaching BUSN3001 Accounting Theory in Semester 1, and BUSN3017/Buns7017 Corporate Social Responsibility, Accounting and Reporting in Semester 2.
